Scott and I took an extra day off so that we could do something that we have wanted to do ever since we moved to Washington...Visit Mt St Helens...And it was worth it!

It was a nice day. The sky was so blue. The flowers were in full bloom. The volcano was smoking and puffing out a steady stream of smoke.

It was amazing! I'm so glad that we got the chance to see it!!

We went to visit Gammie and Joe today.

Afterwards we drove through some very pretty landscapes.

We went to Portland for the Pez Mommy's graduation this weekend. We had a lot of fun!

While we were there Erin and I made the most out of our short "vacation"...which mostly consisted of taking pictures of ourselves.

We also did a fair amount of drinking too!

Weird kitty strikes again

All I can say to this is...He is, umm, very special.

I know I haven't blogged much for awhile so I just wanted to say that I still alive.Things have been kind of crazy around here lately.I can't really say why right at the moment but I will say this...Things are about to change big for us...real big.Stay tuned for updates.

Out of the Silent Planet

Kerwin is a great cat. But he just seemed so lonely and clingy every morning when we get up and every night when we get home.
So....After much discussion we decided that Kerwin needed a sister!

I searched for almost a month to find the perfect match.

She's a 5 year old Bombay. She's fat and sassy and a very nice girl. She'll be a great influence for our baby kitty.

She made herself right at home while Kerwin checked her out...from a distance.

Kerwin did not exactly make the male of the species look very heroic in defending his territory.

She sort of took over the house in no time.

He did get braver in the end and fought back a little.

Finally...harmony in the house once again. I can't wait for the day I find them snuggled up together.
