It's Fronkenstein!

The world premier and I was there! We saw Young Frankenstein: The Musical today. It is AMAZING! They are going to win every Tony this year!!

This is the world premier and from here it goes on for it's Broadway opening. Mel Brooks has been in town for weeks writing and rewriting the script while they built the sets and costumes. Everyone's hard work has really paid off.

All the favorite lines are there along with a few new ones. The songs are funny with the instant hit "Please Don't Touch Me" sang by Megan Mullally. The dancing is awesome with the show stopping "Putting on the Ritz". And-Bless Brooks for adding a couple of fun references to Seattle's (Starbucks) coffee crazed citizens.

I know most of you can't make it to Seattle to catch this one but it's worth a look once it hits the road in tours. If you love the movie you'll love, love, love the musical too.

Cool! You know, I'm actually going to be in Seattle for a couple of hours (well, at Sea-Tac, anyway) this weekend as I make my way over to Sweden ... but I guess that won't be enough time to catch a show ... maybe when it goes on tour ...
