So-On Monday we wake up to no internet service...Scott called our provider...Verizon.
They said they didn't know why our internet AND home phone were off and they would check on it. They then say that they must come out to our house to check on things.
Scott sets up and appointment for Tuesday.
He waits...and waits...they never show up. So, he calls them when he gets to work. They say that they called to confirm that they were coming out but when no one answered they cancelled the appointment.
Scott asks them what number they called. Our home phone! The one that is turned off that they are coming out to investigate. WTF????!!!!!
So, we reschedule. They don't show up again!
So we reschedule. No show.
The moral of the story:
We are changing providers. We won't have internet for a while. If you need to reach me over the weekend you'll have to call me...On my cell...You know, the phone that is working.
