Here we are after the race. I'm so happy that I chose this as one of my goals for the year. I can't think of many better ways to spend a Sunday morning.

The skies were clear. The air was crisp. The sun was shining away. There were hundreds of people walking around a beautiful lake. Tons of kids and dogs everywhere. The lake was full of ducks and conoers. It was a perfect day to take a walk through the park.

When we were all done we took a break on a bench. I sat back and thought about what I had just done. I felt so great having done my first 5k. Scott called his dad to brag. After resting we walked back to the car to plan what to do with the reast of our day.
