Today, due to a major and unexpected expense, we did N-O-T-H-I-N-G! As we will be doing from now on for a verrrrry long time.

A whole day spent sitting on the sofa.

My morning started off with Scott calling to tell me that after spending almost $400 on the CRV it still did not pass state inspection! It has a check engine light that won't go off. That's all. Just a light. However, until it is turned off we can't get plates for my car!!!!!!!!!

A few hours later, while taking out the trash, the next door kitty graced my doorstep. As soon as I saw her I knew something was wrong. It only took a second to figure out what it was.

First off, she was limping. Second, and much worse, her tail no longer moves. Sometime between last night and this morning she has had her tail broken!

It's so sad. It hangs limp behind her draging the ground. We fear that her owners (the very trashy, cig smoking, cuss word screaming, dirty baby on her hip neighbors snot nosed little daughter) has inflicted this terrible wound upon the kitty. But-We have no proof. We're afraid if we call anyone about it they'll just end up putting the cat to sleep. So we let her in for a afternoon of quiet napping on the sofa between us.

A couple of hours later she left our house in good spirits. She even received a rather wet and hardy kiss from our other neighbors Rottweiler.

We wish we could adopt her but there are too many reason why we can't right now.

After that the rest of the day/night has been very quiet.
(Translation: I am sooo bored I feel like pulling all of my hair out.)

I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I might have really good news after I get home in the afternoon. Cross your fingers and send me all of your happy thoughts! Posted by Picasa

"When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

I just finished watching When Harry Met Sally.

This is by far one of my favorite movies.
I can't count how many times that I have watched it. And-Everytime I watch it I get something else out of it. Posted by Picasa

It's such a wonderful story of friendship and love. It causes one to believe that sometimes this crazy world can create something good after all. Posted by Picasa

Gosh Darn It....

It's just one of the best movies ever! Posted by Picasa

It just makes me so happy everytime I watch it!

(Though not quite as happy as Sally.) Posted by Picasa

I miss my Mom and Lily so much.

I would do anything to see them right now but alas...money...once again...is the thing that stands in the way of that happening.

The next time I see them Lily will be nine! (Or ten- at the rate things are going)

Sigh. Posted by Picasa

So....Scott's friend and co-worker from the Sun-Star has been hired on at The Herald!

He is very excited. As is Scott.

So after we found out the good news we took him and his girlfriend, Camilla, down to the Space Needle.

Erin joined us for some great food and lots of laughs. Posted by Picasa

We had fun. Posted by Picasa

Check out this story:

"Famous one-eyed kitten to go on display"

You Are a Purple Flower
A purple flower tends to represent success, grace, and elegance. At times, you are faithful like a violet. And other times, you represent luxury, like a wisteria. And more than you wish, you find yourself heartbroken like a lilac.

Tourist Pookies Part 2

We had planned on having dinner with Erin in Seattle today.

Then after veg-ing on the sofa all morning we decided to go early and take in another Seattle tourist attraction....The Seattle Aquarium. Posted by Picasa

There he is folks... Posted by Picasa

At the entrance they have several tanks of seals and otters. (both sea and river)

It was hard to stop watching them dive and play in the water! Posted by Picasa

On our way inside we hitched a ride... Posted by Picasa

In the center of the aquarium is this large dome...

(Which Scott claimed for his kingdom) Posted by Picasa

And it was full of these! Posted by Picasa

It was pretty cool being surrounded by all those fish. Posted by Picasa

Scott gets intimate with one of the residents! Posted by Picasa

Technicolored Jelly Fish! Posted by Picasa

There must have been a dozen different kinds of seahorses in this one little cove area. Posted by Picasa

Yes-There is a fish in this picture!

It's flat and it looks just like the sand around it.

If you look closely you can see his two beady little eyes.Posted by Picasa

There were so many creatures to see... Posted by Picasa

It was amazing! Posted by Picasa

We both enjoyed the tide pools.

I had never touched such a large starfish before.

Scott was facinated by the texture of a strange thorny tube like worm thing.

Neither of us wanted to move on from this exhibit.

But...When we finally did we saw the biggest octopus either of us had ever seen and some really cool old diving gear. Posted by Picasa

I think my favorite part of the whole aquarium was this weird ring full of colored lights and jelly fish.

I must say that although it is a small aquarium it has some pretty impressive exhibits.

It was a great place to go to fill a couple of hours. Posted by Picasa
